Halloween "Trunk or Treat"

Our PTA 5th Grade Parents Room Reps and their 5th graders will have the chance to put on a SPOOKTACULAR Trunk or Treat for the school. This event will be a drive through and we are seeking candy contributions, so please have your child drop off your candy by Oct 28.

Collection bins will be available in the classrooms.

To ensure we have enough candy for all trick or treaters, please RSVP by Oct 28 at this link - http://evite.me/1wE4Xf1Zvu.

RSVPing will help give us a general head count but no one will be turned away.

Candy will be distributed while supplies last.

We are seeking about 10 cars per class to sign up to be “Trunk or Treat” cars. Get your 5th grader to team up with their pals to dress up their car and show off their creativity. We need all the help we can get to make this event a success.

Sign up now to be a “Trunk or Treat” car by Oct 15 or check out what other volunteer opportunities are available:

After Oct 15, available “Trunk or Treat” car spots will be released to other 5th grade classes for participation.

Note:

  • “Trunk or Treat” cars will just need to decorate their cars, no candy distribution is needed. Candy distribution will be upon exit of the parking lot.

  • Participating parents of the “Trunk or Treat” cars will be in charge of safety for your team of kids. Keep them away from the traffic flow.

Weekly PTA Food Distribution

Food distribution happens every other Tuesday at 4:30pm in the large Proctor parking lot.

Please see the sign-up genius form to volunteer and to see the schedule of dates.

In partnership with Dig Deep Farms, the Deputy Sheriff's Activities League (DSAL) and Hope for the Heart, the Proctor PTA Executive Board began distributing food to the Proctor Community late June 2020. We have been blessed with volunteers from our teachers to Proctor parents and students. In less than 50 days we have distributed over 1,500 boxes/bags of produce, dairy and pantry stable groceries.
