PTA Fundraisers for the 2021-2022 School Year
Proctor SHOE Drive! (Partnering with funds2orgs)
All new or gently used men's/women's/children's shoes welcome (boots, slippers, cleats, sandals, heels, etc!)
How does it work? Proctor collects new and gently used shoes of all types (cleats, sneakers, heels, slippers, sandals, boots, etc.) and Funds2Orgs will pay us $1,000 for 2,500 pairs of shoes! Those shoes are then shipped to developing countries where they support microenterprises. Clean out your closet, save the planet from waste, support your school, and support developing countries...it doesn't get any better than that!
We will have two community events.
We will have a collection tent on-site during Castro Valley Soccer Club picture day, 9/12, 8am-5pm.
We will also be having our main drive-through event on September 18th, 12pm-2pm in the Proctor parking lot. We would love to see you all pass through.
If you are unable to make either event, we will accept donations at the school through October 20th.
Make sure to label your donations with your teacher's name because there will be a prize for the classroom that collects the most shoes. Which class will take the title and the goodies this year?
